The inside is thick and protective and flannel lined. It is very well made with strong handles and shoulder strap, and protects my investment well. I highly recommend it.I ordered this case mainly because of the color and was a little disappointed when it turned out to be more of a salmon pink instead of a baby pink. Other than that though it’s not a bad case, it’s nice for traveling. My laptop 15.1" fits inside with more room for an ipad, notebook, or document. I like that it comes with a pocket for the charger, pens, cellphone/charger, or keys on the outside.
