First the goodL inexpensive, electrically compatible, shipped quickly, good value for money.Now the not-so-great. Install of this part is inherently a PITA. But this backlight has some issues that don't help. First, it seems to be cut a tiny bit large so I had a hard time smoothing out the backlight on the keyboard even thought it was aligned with all 3 standouts. Second, the adhesive just won't stay stuck to the aluminum case.From a quality standpoint the plastic diffuser appears to be around 1/2 the thickness of the OEM one. This may be contributing to the uneven lighting.In spite of all the above, this part did represent good value. I didn't want to put much money in an old 2014 laptop and I didn't have to. And the backlight connected flawlessly to the motherboard and works as advertised -- though less uniformly than the original.
