It was bigger than expected. Definitely a little big for me but using it leaves me with the feeling that my laptop is secure. I am a bit of a klutz so it is a relief to know that my babies will be well protected when I'm travelling with any one of them. A word of advice, brand new the zippered and velcroed pockets are not as expandable as expected. Not for stuffing the pockets (and there are a lot more of those than expected) with papers and notebooks. It is a tight fit. I am hoping continuous use will loosen it up a bit as I tend to have a lot of notepads and papers.
