I have been using the Pwr+ Laptop stand for over two months. Sitting on the couch with my laptop is bad for my lower back, my shoulders and neck. I'm paying good money to massage out the tension in my shoulders. I think that this will help.Setting this up is fairly intuitive. Press the buttons and move the legs to the position that suits you. I like the smaller adjustable mousing platform, but instructions on how to adjust that were not included. Took me quite a bit to figure it out mostly because of how difficult it was to pull the table apart. Maybe I'm weak that way.It very customizable, but difficult to get the mouse platform to 90 degrees, perhaps because of my lack of strength. So it's a bit frustrating because once you get that level there's readjusting the legs to the desired position. The stand is pretty lightweight so the position pictured is probably not going to be your final configuration. I have one leg braced forward resting on the table, and the other leg hooked down the edge of the table to keep it stable and from sliding forward. The legs should have been rubber instead of plastic to prevent that.I would buy it again. I also bought another brand without the mouse platform. I don't use that except on the couch. Hmmm. . .and that was the reason for this purchase, To Get Off the Couch! The table works! I use it on my bed where I spend a lot of time. When I first got it two months ago, my old mattress sloped steeply toward the floor. I had no trouble finding several positions where the table balanced. I have a Lenovo 2 in 1 laptop. The table has a fold up padded lip to prevent it sliding off. . I've since gotten a new mattress and it's better than ever, not even a slight wobble. I chose this odel because it has a lot of space between its legs. The only thing I could wish for would be an adjustable mouse pad, but engineering wise this isn't possible, I think, if they keep the legs so far apart. This was the only model that is so spacious and that makes it the best for me. I'm not large, but don't want to be crowded. The frame is Very sturdy, aluminum I'd guess, and light. That's important for me because I've have a failed rotator cuff surgery. I paid the full price for this table, but the company did promise me a second table in exchange for me honest review. I spent forever looking for a reasonably priced laptop table and I believe that this is the best deal.Don't let the cheap look (and feel) fool you on this one. I ordered this to accompany my standing desk solution, and this holds my mouse and keyboard. Honestly, when I received it, I was wildly disappointed. It's super light and cheap looking if you order the silver. I couldn't figure out how to make the thing work, either...directions, anyone? ;) Helps if you read them. :sigh: However, once I did, I was amazed at the versatility of this little desk.If you want a standing desk for a laptop, this might be perfect. I wouldn't put anything much heavier than a laptop, and probably a 17" screen laptop would be too big. But for a small MacBook or 15" or less, this is ideal. It moves easily and has a number of uses.Note: to put the main platform and the mouse platform at different angles, you'll have you to pull it apart (I don't remember that in the instructions...). then readjust the legs for a level surface. For the usefulness, this is very worth the price, and it works great as a standing desk component.Note: I have purchased this item, and I am in no way compensated or otherwise rewarded for my review. It is fine once you have it adjusted to the height that you want, but you cannot easily move it up and down with your laptop on it like I was hoping you could. You really have to take everything off and then adjust each one of the joints separately, which can be a little tricky. The only other thing I didn't like was how it kind of sinks in a bit in the middle, where the separation is from the extra mouse tray. I'm afraid if I put too much pressure on the stand it will collapse, but it hasn't done that yet thankfully. Basically, if you want something that you can just move your laptop onto from time to time this will work. But if you want something that you have your laptop on all the time and them move it up and down when needed, this is probably not the right product for that.I bought this laptop desk for my wife, a graduate student. She is using this with a 13" Macbook and is fairly happy with it. We love that the design of this product allows for it to be used in so many configurations but it's construction feels a little flimsy at the joint between the laptop platform and the mouse pad. I would be very concerned to use this with a laptop any larger than a 13" Macbook as if feels the hinge between the two platforms will break. I understand the design allows a tremendous amount of flexibility in how it is configured but I still have regretted buying this specific product rather than the smaller one that does not include the mouse pad area. It seems the laptop platform without the mousepad would create a more durable product and eliminate the concern of it snapping in two while holding it's payload. This does exactly what is said it would. It is very versatile and can be configured in many ways. I would give it 5 starts except it is not perfect for me. It is bigger than I expected and I can't figure out what to do with it when I am not using it. I wanted if for taking my laptop to bed with me. If I fall asleep, I have this big thing in my lap. There is no easy way to just put it beside the bed, and it scares the heck out of my dog. However, I will still use it on some occasions, because it makes productive work possible from the bed.
