The case is great! Installation was so simple that it probably took longer to take out of the packaging than to actually install on the laptop. The fit and finish is perfect, there's no slop, flex, squeak or anything of the kind. The plastic feels nice to the touch and the feet are nice and tall so there's good clearance off a table or desk of there's a drink spill or something. I got the smoked look, but since the Apple logo doesn't actually light up on this mac it's probably about the same if you get a solid color.It came with a screen protector that I didn't install because I don't really get the point of it. It's not a touch screen and I don't have any issues occasionally cleaning the LCD.One not so good thing was the included keyboard cover. I did try it and it made it significantly less comfortable and slower to type so I removed it. The keys themselves require much more precise center hits to activate because the silicone sidewalls are very stiff. Especially with keys in the top and bottom rows I often hit the key off- center (which I actually discovered because of this keyboard cover lol). I don't really care about all that though because I bought this for the exterior case which again is fantastic so I'm still giving this product 5 starts. If you care about making sure your $2500+ investment stays protected from scrapes and scratches this case is HIGHLY recommended.
