My laptop stand was quite bulky and didn’t travel well so I was looking to upgrade to something more compact and lightweight. I was considering a Roost stand but saw this one as a more affordable alternative.I was a bit nervous as some reviews said the back part slides a bit and doesn’t have a solid grip on the surface but I disagree. I use a wireless keyword so I don’t see why or how the stand could even move around.I love how lightweight and compact it is. I’d say it’s pretty good value. It does the job. I also like the extent and height adjustments it has. My last stand was quite limited but I love how this one can boost your laptop up just a bit or a lot.The laptop fits well in the stand. When you close your laptop when using the stand it doesn’t shut completely because where the stand holds the laptop in place it’s in the way, however it’s not a problem because you can just pull the laptop back a bit, close it, then fit it back into the stand. (See photos). The plastic doesn’t seem like the best quality, however it’s not terrible and it seems to do the job. I’m not too concerned the plastic will break or anything. It also comes with a fabric case which is great. The case seems a bit small, but the material stretches so it fits without too much extra effort.Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase. I think this is great for anyone that travels a lot, works from different locations, or wants better ergonomic support when using a laptop.I’d recommend the stand.
